Human Chain Protest Against Persecution of Hindus Held in Bogura

A human chain protest was organized in Sonatala, Bogura, to protest the persecution of Hindus. The event took place today, Friday, November 13th, at Lathiganj, near Syed Ahmed College. The protest was held in response to the recent attacks on Hindu homes, vandalism, temple idol desecration, and other forms of persecution that have occurred in various parts of the country, including Muradnagar in Cumilla.

The protest was organized by the Bogura district committee of the human rights organization, Bangladesh Minority Watch. Speakers at the event included:

* Bikash Chandra Karmakar, President of the District Committee

* Dr. Bipul Chandra Saha, General Secretary

* Monoranjan Sarkar Kuran, Dhunat Upazila Representative

* Narayan Chandra Roy, President of the Chakradhika Crematorium Committee

* Arjun Chandra Pramanik, a key leader of the committee

All speakers highlighted the attacks and arson on Hindu homes in Cumilla, noting that the affected families are now living in subhuman conditions. They called for the immediate legal arrest of the perpetrators and demanded compensation from the government for the affected families.

Approximately a hundred men and women participated in the human chain, incding Moni Prodhan, Basudev Sarkar, Ranjit Sarkar, Rakhal Prang, Sukumar Prang, Sumon, Roton, Mohon, Shyamol, Shefali Rani, Lipi Rani, Golapi Rani, Minoti Rani, Lipi Rani, Sobita Rani, and Onita Rani, Shyamoli Rani.
